Goededag met jullie allemaal!! Hoe gaat het! We've had a cool week this week. We're still searching for more investigators to teach but we've been able to pick up some really cool ones this week, and we still have more plans in the works! We've honestly have had a lot of tender mercies and miracles this week. Between missionary and member referrals and being at the right place at the right time, we've seen the Lord's help.
First off, we've gotten back in contact with A. He had a problem where he had to go out of town for a week and is very busy now that he's back in Paramaribo. But he is still anxious to be baptized! We're meeting with him tomorrow to catch-up on what we've missed from this last few weeks.
We've also met some very cool investigators. The first is D. He is a contact that we had who is genuinely very interested in what we teach. He is very cool, and catches on to things very well. He told us he'll be coming to church this week too. Another person we met this week is M!  He is another really cool guy who simply wants to learn more about God and asked us to come teach him. It is honestly so cool to be able to see the spirit working on these people, and when they listen, it's cool to see the change wrought in them. Sometimes they recognize it and other times they don't, but we get to see then change in them and it is the coolest to see the Atonement COMPLETELY change someone's life.
I found a really cool scripture in James 3:17-18. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. 18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.I love this scripture. Striving to walk in the Lord's light enlightens and reassures us of who's side we're on. So long as we strive to become like Jesus Christ, the Lord will promise us these blessings. In last general conference, Elder Gong said "Heavenly Father's Plan of Happiness invites us to be humbly at peace on our journey to someday become perfected in Christ". We can't be perfect now and we can't do everything perfectly, but we can 'humbly and peaceably' walk after the knowledge and more importantly, wisdom that our Heavenly Father has given us.
Love you all! Have another fantastic week. Ik zal jullie latter schrijven met meer wonders onderweg!!!Ik hou van jullie!!!
Elder Hunt
