Hello everyone!! Happy fourth of July!!!

Hello everyone!! Happy fourth of July!!!
We've had another great week in Paramaribo! For the 4th today all the missionaries got together and had a BBQ. It was really fun. We sang the Patriotic songs in the English hymnbook and played some sports. I read a fun scripture this morning talking about America in 2 Nephi 10:10 "But behold, this land, said God, shall be land of thine inheritance, and the Gentiles shall be blessed upon the land. 11 And this land shall be land of liberty unto theGentiles, and there shall be no kings upon the land, who shall raise up unto the Gentiles. 12 And will fortify this land against all other nations." Fun patriotic scripture I thought I'd share.
So we've seen a lot of really cool miracles happen this week. The first was on Monday night. We were riding down this one street to go visit someone. We've biked down this street dozens of times at different times of the day. Out of no where, we hear someone whistle us down. This guy comes out by the road and motions us to come talk to him. Long story short, turns out this man had talked with the missionaries 14 years ago and had received a copy of the Book of Mormon. He lost contact and didn't make contact with the missionaries again until 3 months ago, but the missionaries lost his information. It turns out that this guy has had a Book of Mormon for 14 years and read all the way through it! Both me and Elder Christiansen were blown away when we heard about it. We've started teaching him and he came to church last week.
A is back!! He's finished with his work that he's had going on and so we can start meeting with him again. He came to church last week and is excited to keep coming. We'll hopefully have another baptismal date for him again tonight. We've been meeting with M as well. He wasn't able to come to church this last week, but there's always next week! He's been awesome though and we'll continue to teach him.
I read a scripture this week 2 Nephi 9:18 which has honestly turned into one of my most favorite scriptures now. 18 "But, behold, the righteousthe saints of the Holy One of Israel, they who have believed in the Holy One of Israel,they who have endured the crosses of the world, and despised the shame of it, they shall inherit the kingdom of God, which was prepared for them from the foundation of the world, and their joy shall be full forever." I, being the editor that I am, like to shorten the scripture into "they who have believed... and they who have endured...[shall be] they who shall inherit...and their joy shall be full forever". This is such a cool scripture talking about enduring to the end. When we endure we will be blessed. In fact, believing and enduring are promised to bring us a "joy that shall be full forever". Imagine that. A full, perfected joy, that will be eternally yours, if you believe and endure. I like this scriptures because of how inspiring they are and the hope they bring.
Love you all. Have a good rest of your 4th! I'll be back in a week with more to come!
Ik hou van jullie!!!
